The Gibson Family Health Care Charitable Foundation was designed to enhance the quality of life for residents at Helen Henderson Care Centre. Every donation is used to enhance the comfort and care of our residents. Donations to our home have helped us purchase a wheelchair accessible bus, which has been fantastic for social outings and transporting residents to appointments.

Please support our charitable foundation and make a difference in the life of a resident.

Current projects that need your help include:

1. Our capital campaign to raise $50,000 to purchase 11 new hospital beds in the nursing home and refurbish the tub room in our retirement lodge.

2. Purchase of a low air-flow mattress for people who are palliative or have wounds (cost is approx. $4,000). These mattresses help with wound healing and decrease pain and increase comfort at end of life.
3. Enhancement of programs.
4. Create and support excursions and activities.
5. Build new recreational/lounge areas (with shade where applicable).
