We are looking for a part-time:
Personal Support Worker (PSW)

A competitive salary (starting wage is $25.06 to $26.66 an hour).
Uniform allowance.
Night and weekend shift premium.

Qualifications:
Possess and provide a diploma for a PSW course from a certified educational facility. (Preference will be given to individuals with long-term care experience.)
Must be resident focused in the provision of his/her care to our residents.
Have maturity and good physical, emotional, and mental health and be capable and willing to work a variety of shifts (days, evening and nights).
Kind, caring and empathetic attitude and willingness to always treat others with dignity and respect, especially residents in long-term care.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to take direction and be part of a care team.
Follow policy and complete tasks in a timely and organised manner.
Willingness to learn and actively participate in ongoing education and in-servicing.
Excellent observational skills to report concerns/changes in condition of the resident or the environment.
Computer skills and knowledge of RAI-MDS.
Ability to ensure the safety of residents and staff by complying with safety standards, regulations and legislation applicable to long-term care.
Roles and responsibilities:
You are responsible to the residents of our home and their families and will ensure care delivery is always resident focused.
