Home to host fall open house
A retirement home in Amherstview is showcasing its award winning programs and services at an open house this fall.
Helen Henderson Retirement Lodge, an accredited retirement home owned and operated by the Gibson family, is opening its doors to the public on Sept. 22 from 1 to 4 pm.
The open house is part of a province-wide initiative by the Ontario Retirement Communities Association (ORCA) to showcase services for people looking for assisted living. The open house will also introduce residents and dynamic/dedicated staff.
Featuring the taste, sound and beauty of Canada, Helen Henderson Retirement Lodge Fall Open House will feature warm apple cider, fresh cinnamon buns and entertainment by local musicians. Admission is free and open to everyone.
“We hope the community takes advantage of this opportunity to tour our retirement lodge and meet our friendly staff,” says Angela Gibson, Assistant Administrator.
“The Fall Open House is a great way to taste the delicious food prepared in our kitchen and enjoy the spectacular entertainment we have on a regular basis. As a family run business, we truly understand the importance of family and meeting the needs of each individual.”
Managers and team members will be on-hand to guide visitors through the layout to fully appreciate the living space such as the dining room, common areas, activity rooms, living quarters and more.
